ThermoGear conducts research into all phases of warming technology. Successful heat production and heat delivery research is then applied to product development.

All warming device designs must meet rigid product testing standards. ThermoGear works with individual testing laboratories to gain certifications and other clearances to guarantee product safety. Testing MobileWarm products in all environments they are used in must be successful before a product is finalized.

ThermoGear designs have met specifications for use by U.S. Department of Defense in the field and air. Certifications completed or in process include:
